West Vancouver Foot Clinic Cancellation Policy

Purpose:
 

To provide clear guidelines for the cancellation of appointments and ensure efficient scheduling for the benefit of all patients.

 

1. Advance notice:

• Patients are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment.

• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be subject to a cancellation fee.

 

2. Cancellation fees:

• A fee of $50 will be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice.

• This fee helps to offset the cost of the missed appointment time that could have been allocated to another patient.

 

3. No-show policy:

• Patients who do not show up for their scheduled appointment without any prior notice will be charged a no-show fee of $75.

• Repeated no-shows (more than two instances) may result in the requirement for a deposit to book future appointments.

 

4. Exceptions:

• We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can occur. Please contact our office as soon as possible if you are unable to make your appointment due to an emergency.

• The cancellation fee may be waived at the discretion of the clinic management in such cases.

 

5. Rescheduling:

• Patients are encouraged to reschedule their appointments if they cannot attend. The rescheduling of an appointment must be done at least 24 hours in advance to avoid any fees.

 

6. Late arrivals:

• Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late for their appointment may need to reschedule and may be charged a late arrival fee equivalent to the cancellation fee.

• Efforts will be made to accommodate late arrivals within the same appointment slot, but this cannot be guaranteed.
